Type 3 calipers never came in the single pin version. To my knowledge those
are all type 1 Ghia calipers with the smaller (40mm) pistons. I would not use
them on a type 3.

Later type 1 Ghia calipers have 2 pins and look JUST like type 3 calipers,
but still have 40mm pistons. I have 3 of these that I have taken off type 3s
over the years; all are lefts, usually removed just one from a car. This makes
a HUGE difference in L/R braking balance. ;-)

Even later Ghias used Girling calipers, but those use a U-pin pad retainer
and look completely different, but they still have 40mm pistons.
