Type 3 calipers never came in the single pin version. To my knowledge those are all type 1 Ghia calipers with the smaller (40mm) pistons. I would not use them on a type 3. Later type 1 Ghia calipers have 2 pins and look JUST like type 3 calipers, but still have 40mm pistons. I have 3 of these that I have taken off type 3s over the years; all are lefts, usually removed just one from a car.
