Bill, this car has what is called "picture windows" , and back in the late
80s and early 90s (starting to show my age) this was a common thing to do.
Well that being said, you'll have a very hard time restoring it back to stock
(start of a darksider?). Like Russ and the ad said, the floors need patching
too, and nobody sells new floors for a type3, so that means modifying ghia
pans (they're the closest you'll find) or good used sections to repair the
floors. It also looks like it needs to be painted which is expensive, and
there was no mention of the condition of the seals (doors, front and rear
windows, rear gate, front hood, etc...) which can get very expensive too. I'm
not trying to get you to pass on it, but giving to more ammo to help you on
your decision. I hope this helps.
