A type 3 is always worth the money !!! Can you go look at it ? Look for rust , he all ready said the pan needs work....if it doesn't bother you then no big deal. Make yourself a list of things that you don't want to touch..ie, wiring, body work, motor.... and look for cars that have those areas in good condition.
