What does a loose hub sound like? I still have the once per rev
thumping under heavy breaking coming from the right rear. I don't
feel it, just hear it. I've opened up the drum and all the brake
hardware is fine. The cotter pin is still in the axle nut, and I've
driven a thousand miles since Parma w/o a noise. I haven't checked
tightness, but will do so this weekend.
Someone suggested a bad tire or rim. Well I got four new radials
last week, rotated the rim and no change. It sure is nice to have
four matching good tread tires though. No more tire time bomb.
