John- You are correct on your method of lowering a type 3, but I am looking for a way to do it and not affect my ride quality as I want to drive this car to all the shows it will go to. As my car sits now lowered just 1 spline, it is not a good ride and has quite a bit of "bump steer", and if the wind is just right it will change lanes on its own. According to Keith (and his leaflet he gave out at Parma) it are affect by not having enough Castor, lowering takes away the needed castor. I am look for a way to restore the factory geometry to a lowered front end. Keith any thoughts here? Am i going about this correctly?
