Or should I just clean-up the original and use it ?<< If possible you should clean up the originals and try to preserve them, but if they're like mine were they might be so hardened and cracked that they're not really salvageable. Mine had actually glued themselves to the tar boards and I had to pry the leftover pieces off. I'm in the process of making replacement molded mats now. I found two kinds of stock rubber mat that can be combined to match the original mats fairly closely. The result will look a lot closer to original factory style than carpet would. I can give you more details if you're interested.
