When I added the second fuse box (Did the Parma gang see THAT too? :-o) I added a relay to each of the new circuits to keep the load off the ignition switch... good point Jim! However.. Im running a 72 Column and am using a later switch... I have a relay on the 65 ingition switch to keep ALL the current off those underated contacts. One thing I remember now, relating to the headlight issue, is that when I switched to the Halogen version of the standard headlights, they were not only brighter but drew less current. I rewired my headlights so that both filiments stay on for the high beams, but this resulted in the problem of a melted cover on the stock fuse box until I switched to Halogens but I still added the second fusebox to handle the extra current. Keith so I just hope that Keith has added > a relay or 2 to take the load off his hard-to-get 71 ignition switch. > > - > Jim Adney > jadney@vwtype3.org > Madison, WI 53711-3054 > USA > > ------------------------------------------------ > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> > For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ > ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
