Arrrrghhh... I'm having a problem with mine that I think I have narrowed to the switch. Maybe someone can back me up here... When I flip the lever to the left, the fuse burns immediately (#9 on the fuse box - 12 fuses total). When I disconnected the black/white and black/green wires that go out to the front and rear signal lights, it still burnt, so I assume that the problem lies in the switch. The black/white wire (left signal) running from the lever to the base of the turn signal housing is not pinched or corroded and looks OK. If there is a short in the lever, how would I diagnose it? Remember, my collection of electrical tools consists of a test light and a jumper wire. I could convince a friend (six-pack) to help me out checking continuity, if needed.
