White, wasn't it? ;-) We have a red Golf Wagon (TDi), which but for circumstances at the time of purchase would have been registered in Anne's name. The driver's handbook has a picture of it inside the front, with the number-plate showing the name "Variant", so I don't feel I have to disown it! Luckily they don't put the label on the car itself.
