> Vin #------------0194233 , this was built in 62 correct ? If so can i > re-register the car as a 62 instead of a 63 ? > 0194233 = Middle of May, 1963 so it's a 1963 model. > It still has a single side draft that i would like to reuse, anyone have a rebuild kit for it? Were all side drafts carbs the same size ? > I've seen them on eBay. Yes on the 2nd question, although there are some slight differences - jets, passages, etc.. > Is this car pre-"S", "N" models? And Just a regular 1500?... > Yes, 61-63 = just a "1500". No S or N, it's basically a mixture of N and S features, if you are more familiar with the S and N models. Curved dash, rocker trim only, side marker lights above the beltline, no hood trim, flat tallights. > yellow side markers > An export model? Maybe Canadian? Yellow side markers means they are hooked up as turn signals. > Passenger door does have a lock in it..another oddity is the drivers door has a hole on the top where the door lock (on 68 and 69) comes up throu...but the door is original and has the lock in the handle. > The door has been changed? I think you can still use the lock on the handle if you swap everything over to a later door. There is a another listee with a later door, maybe he can comment? '67 has the pull door locks. > Whew..thats it for now....more to come. > Congrats!
