If it is a long term problem I think the only cure is to try a different brand/style of pads. The ones with the damping material bonded to the back of the backing plate are the ones to look for. I have also seen stick on damping pieces to stick on the back of your pads, as well as gooey stuff that you put there. My experience with these is that the sticky pads do nothing and the gooey stuff actually causes harm because it sticks to the rubber boot and eventually rips it.
