trying to use Occam's Razor here... but since you guys are all mostly smarter than me, and are coming up with solutions that are less simple, please tell me why I'm wrong. Wouldn't the shortest, most convenient path to fresh, clean cold air be thru the inner fender well? So that your cold air intake(s) would be somewhere right underneath the fender louvers? And only about 10 inches away from the carb you're trying to feed? And not require any fancy plumbing criss-crossing the block, getting in the way of your carb linkage, SP wires, etc.? Would this be "stealing" too much air from the cooling fan? I've thought about this plenty of times... and now, you all have provided me with a segue to bring it up. Thanks. --timmy ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
