<x-charset iso-8859-1>ahhh... this sounds like a solution. The RX7 alternators are made to hold up to the higher RPM's that the Rotary's often get pushed to so they should be good and durable. Id be concerned with stock FI and an alternator though, the FI is voltage dependant on mixture calibration. Im sure with some overvoltage protection it would work though. Course IF I convert to T4... Keith yes, brighter at idle....because i used the stock RX7 pulley, witch is a LOT smaller diameter than the type 3 pulley, the alt spins faster and puts out 14 volts at idle.......and im running dual webbers....no worry.....the last owner tried to jumpstart the car to many times and fried the brain of the FI ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
