contrary to many beliefs, oil pressure at idle can be as low as PSI without any bearing damage. the default pressure on A-series motor'd MGs and Austin-Healey's was 3psi at idle. as long as there is pressure, the bearings will be lubed... ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
