[T3] paper gasket and permatex

I read somewhere that permatex aviation sealer should never
be used with a paper gasket.
I would appreciate opinions on:

(1) Is this really true
(2) why
(3) does this apply to other types of sealers (like curil k2)
(4) if (1) and (3), then should you just skip the paper gasket
and use only the sealer (specifically here I am interested in
the paper gasket around the oil pump)
