Re: [T3] New Longblock Break-In period

<x-charset iso-8859-1>change oil (cleaning strainer) adjust valves check all is nice and secure
still .drive without labouring the car for 500 miles repeat initial process
.

drive with occasional bursts of gusto for 1500 miles service and set valves
even after this period keep in mind you have only done 2000 miles .

now you can get into a servicing routine depending on how you feel i don't
do my servicing on miles as i don't do enough .

normally i service in the autumn just before winter gets nasty and in the
spring again its only 5 litres of oil a year and it wont break the bank! of
course if your banging out the miles then chose every 2000 2500 or 3000
miles as you service point as you deem fit. keep in mind oil is cheap your
new engine i dare say was not treat it nice make it last.

it will not be properly lose till its done about 10,000 miles not labouring
around corners and such like is the main thing here if you felt as if you
should have just changed down a gear to do a move then you have just been a
bad dude to your new engine.

Neil verdon.
my engine is now lose after about 15,000 miles and im swapping it out soon
for a tight t4!!!
