> Buy some red hobby shop enamel and paint your white 12V needle. > If you can't find quite the right color, consider nail polish. You guys'n'gals are no fun. Absolutely *no* fun.... Ok, I will take apart a 6v and a 12v (both white-needle) gauge and start comparing electronic components... see what's different, see if I can transfer components from 12v gauge to 6v. Actually, I played with putting a ~1971ish 12v fuel gauge subunit in a '66 gauge/idiot light body. It worked, but the fit was a wee bit funny, as I recall. I was seeing if I liked the looks of the old-stye idiot lights. I think I like the iconified idiot lights better, though... I may want to end up w/ red needle subgauge, 12-volted, with the newer idiot lights... bwahaha... -Greg "not even Mace Windu could hold me back" Merritt (p.s.: o.k., Windu would have me for lunch.) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
