I, too was at last Sundays' show @ VWoA HQ in MI.(sorry John J.- I wanted to talk to you & Sophy, but I was too busy with my first ever swap space. Did Grant Mikosz make it out?) Hardly a T3 part in sight, but I ended up taking home (as part of a trade for my beloved, rust encrusted, purple Huffy Rail muscle bike) a chrome shifter from "a one owner bone stock '69 Square". I'm not sure how much of the latter I belive, but it's in nice shape & the chrome is of pretty good quality, therefore it's gotta be old. I'm certain such a thing was never factory, but could it be EMPI &/or dealer installed? I have an EMPI Motoring Guide dated 4/68, but it only has an illustration of their shifter, no photo. I didn't lay out any cash for it & it looks good, so I'm not too concerned of it's origins. I just get very curious about these things. Anyone? Later, EricH.
