Re: [T3] Parking lights, blinkers and flashers
<x-flowed>>It's a '73, and the assembly has one dual filament bulb, and one single
filament bulb. I'm not totally sure when the single is being used and not,
because I haven't run through all of the scenarios. The real problem comes
with the duals. I want to put in a single LED for all of it (well, >one
per
side).
I havent checked out the wiring diagrams so I am not exactly sure whats
going on, but...
Two bulbs in the front blinker assembly? If yes, is one (dual filiment)
pointing toward the front and one to the side?
At any rate its going to be much easier to use two led's one for blinkers
and one for lights. Im not sure what you actually mean by led's though do
you mean LED assemblies that would replace the current assemblies. Or do you
mean replace the bulbs with LED's?
You can have one bulb/LED do the entire thing, but the turn signal switch
must be set up for it. They did it in older bugs, but the brake lights
actually run through the turn signal indicator, so you can have blinkers,
and brake lights as the same time (without having both tail lights blink)
When I check out the wiring diagrams this weekend to see what the problem is
with my blinker/headlight thing, I will be able to give a more educated
answer.
