touch the throttle at all. I seem to remember this being less of a problem
with the 67 I used to have.. can anyone confirm if this issue was worked
out with a different
linkage design by 67??

My '67 carbs. appear to have the same linkage as my '63 ('64 dual carbs)
and '65 Type 3s. But yes, my '67 seems to start and warm up better, more
so now with a vacuum distributor than the 009.
I have also noticed my '67 starts much better when hot. I have a feeling
some of this is attributed to the 12v electricals.
It is around 70F when I leave for work right now, your cold-weather mileage
may vary.
