Was this a wire type heli-coil, or a metal threaded insert? There are
several different types of thread repair inserts.
What this means, that at sometime in the past, this head has had a
stripped plug, and been repaired. There are basically 3 different sizes.
This is not a death knell for your engine, just that you will have to be
careful the next time you change the plugs. And I would suggest that you
not remove that plug any more than you have to.
