<x-flowed>Getting water into your fuel tank? Look under your fuel filler neck inside the RF fender. Under there you'll see the fuel filler neck and a ~1" diam rubber hose. If that little overflow hose isn't there or if it is rotted out, water will get into the tank, and you could have symptoms like those you describe. Also take the fuel sender off the top of your fuel tank. Do this when you don't have much fuel left. Shine your flashlight in and look for rust and crud in there. There is a little wire mesh fuel filter inside there that might need to be replaced. You also may need to clean the inside of the tank out if it's really rusty. -Mark Fuhriman _________________________________________________________________ Join the worldâs largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-flowed>
