<x-flowed>>gaskets, accelerator cable, and who knows what else... if it's something >small it usually ends up in the trunk, just in case. Several months ago I was chugging up the hill toward a 2-lane tunnel on a major SF Bay Area freeway. Just a few hundred feet before the tunnel, my fastback gave a couple of jerks and died. At least I didn't have to stop inside that tunnel. Because I carry a bunch of diagnostic tools (like VOM and inductive timing light), I was able to determine right away that my coil had quit. I pulled out a rusty old spare, and I was on my way in just a few minutes. Accumulate spares before you need them, and keep them in the trunk! -Mark Fuhriman _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
