I pull a 950 pound fiberglass trailer that was Canada's answer to the Eriba Puck, although a little more spacious. It is called a Boler. You can see pictures of my Squareback with the trailer on Everett's site, under Karl's custom 3, I think. You can also check out the small website that some enthusiasts created for the Boler: www.geocities.com/bolerama. It tows very well behind my Square and I've had it all over the country; from Pennsylvania to California. I usually pull it with my Jetta for regular camping trips and trips to Pomona, but for VW shows and some vintage camping I use the Squareback. Only problem is making sure others can see the taillights since the type III is 6 volt, so I wired the trailer lights to the trailer's on-board battery and a relay to my stop and turn signals. My bumper also mounts directly to the hitch, which makes for a clean installation. I would love to start a vintage (or at least a mini) caravanning club -- it is so much fun camping in the trailer, but would be more fun with others who had VW's and similar trailers.
