<x-flowed>>>little metal connectors that fit inside the small, white plastic >>connector from Bugformance on El Camino. I pushed out the old, metal >>connectors, dressed the wires and re-crimped them to new connectors. I >>pushed these into the plastic connector and reconnected the FI harness >>to the injector. This took care of my problem. Soon after I got my FI Type 3, I discovered that a PO had made several crimped connections to the wiring. Most of these connections were at least partially corroded or loose. Your crimped connections will also deteriorate unless you solder them. Typical crimping tools that you buy at your local hardware store will not give you adequate connections for automotive use. -Mark Fuhriman _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe </x-flowed>
