<x-charset windows-1252>Actually.......the stuff behind the doorpanels is hardboard. It is a hotpressed fiber board that has one smooth, hard side and one rough side. It is typically 1/8" to 1/4" thick. MDF has the same smooth finish on both sides, is much more dense, much stronger, and is available in thicknesses from 3/8" to 3/4". I have never seen it less than 3/8" thick. It would make for a very heavy door panel. 8^) Later, John (I don't work at Home Depot, but I spend a lot of money there) Jaranson '71 FI Auto Fasty (Jane) '66 Square (???)
