I didn't change the generator yet, just the regulator. From reading
your FAQ, I think it's probably the brushes (though I've not visually
confirmed this, I really doubt they've been changed in the last couple
decades judging by the state of the engine as a whole).
So, would it be faster to put the '69's gen in it just to get it working
then mess with the gen out of the car, or is changing the generator a
big pain and I should rather change the brushes?
