<x-charset iso-8859-1>I had the local wizard at CarToys put an Aiwa In-Dash CD/MP3 Player CDC-MP3 under the driver's seat with an IR repeater under the dash and a tiny remote that mounts pretty inconspicuously on my steering wheel. Then I bought an original Sapphire XI AM radio for $5 at the junkyard, restored a mount from a '69 fastback, and put the non-functioning beauty into my dash...hey, it looks good, and I can still listen to Jimi Hendrix with some decent speakers I mounted on panels in the kick plate. ----- Original Message ----- From: "nathan howell" <orntar@worldnet.att.net> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2002 8:06 PM Subject: [T3] stereo's > Does anyone out there know of an after market radio holder for type 3's > I don't want to cut mine. but if I have too, how did other peoples out > there work out?
