Whatever you decide to do, you're going to eventually have to get "up close
and personal" with your engine. You can't buy a rebuilt from anyone and
expect it to just install itself and run perfectly.

In both the long and the short run, you'll be dollars and hours ahead by doing
some studying and diagnosis so you can be more sure of what your problem
is. Oil spillage on converted carb engines is usually just due to lack of
understanding of the breather, leading to no breather at all, which ends up
forcing oil out places which would not normally be a problem.

On top of your breather box are there 1 or 2 plastic plugs?

Like Toby says, get specific and lets see if we can help.
