Re: Volkswagen Enthusiast Program(VW 1)311

I think this is true. I belong to another "club" on the net, that is a semi
real world club (water cooled) and one member is a VWoA factory rep. The
following is part of a email that was sent to him and was forwarded to club
members. This is from one VWoA rep to another,

"We will be rolling out a club "license program" this quarter. The issue
of club merchandise will be handled on an individual basis. In the
meantime, he is correct that the VW logo should be removed since he has
  no authority to use it.
I hate always being the bad-guy...hopefully the license program will
  help that! "

I have had a response from my fellow club member on this issue and VWoA knows,
at least some of the employees do, that VWoA is not making friends in both the
air and water cooled VW car buff's.

I think this is a step in the right direction.. Lets hope so. This is a very
sore subject with me, it brings the redneck, 60's anti establishment out in me
in a bad way...

Only thing I've heard is what you forwarded.
