<x-charset iso-8859-1>I've replaced the outside scraper in my 72 Squareback with rubber from a VW Bus. Long story short it was like surgery so not to damage the molding and didn't quit fit right when I was done. From past experience on other cars the fit was about as good as it was going to get. There are a few places that sell the molding and rubber or just the rubber. http://www.vwispwest.com/cgi-bin/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=thispage&thispage=cat3_ 831.htm&ORDER_ID=313131947 http://store.cip1.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=cali&Cate gory_Code=03-04-11 The prices will very, I found the second link had some quality parts at a good price. Will the parts fit like a VW original?, we will never know because there are no new VW original parts to compare to. from my past experience and depending on finances I will more than likely buy the complete molding/rubber setup. But once again the widow scraper wasn't meant to make the door water tight, but to keep most of the water out, IE the drain holes in the door bottom. Just a thought. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web! Visit http://www.vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
