Does anyone know the part number for a 12volt Type3 generator? What is the diameter of a Type3 12volt generator? Was there a change in 12volt generator sizes at some time, like from 10cm to 12cm? A friend is trying to upgrade his 6volt notchback to 12volts. A 12volt generator which he has is too big for the 10cm diameter recess in his 6volt car's fan housing .
