heres my deal. I was going to restore my 72 squareback but i after hearing about a girl who drove her 1971 squareback from oregon to connecticut and decideing not to return home with it she put it up for sale. In the long run this would be a better investment for me my friend and i went to take it out for a spin. And take a look at it oh my god the car was georgous rust free top to bottom inside and out the original price was 3000. But she was leaving on thrusday so she dropped the price to 1500 is that a good price ? for a 1971 squareback manual rebuilt engine and carbs. So what i am doing is selling my project car plus the parts that came off the parts car. They need to go asap it is located in new cannan ct about 1 hour from new york city. I am asking 600 for the car plus alot of extra parts from the parts car. The sooner it goes my friend will be happy to have some free space on the property. My other problem when my friend was driving it home as i was following him. I don't know how to drive manual. We should of checked the oil . Before we left it was low so we had to pull over and put a quart of oil in and the bigger problem the car was back firring like crazy. We don't know why i hope someone can help us out please other than that my friend said it ran like a dream and the heat was so awesome he had to turn it off and plus roll down the windows any information would be grateful sam 76 bus (lucy) 71 squareback ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
