On decel, this really can't be knock. Besides your engine has reduced compression ratio, so it really won't knock at any time. Did you have windows open? Could the sound have been reflecting back to you from outside? Can you describe the noise better? What speed, what gear? Have you had any of your wheels off lately, could a lug bolt be loose? Could there be loose CV joint bolts? Dirt/rust caught behind one of the brake rotors?
