Yes, I took the whole thing apart and gave it an oil and grease. The mech.
advance wasn't working at first, but after letting the oil soak down through
the wick it freed up. I have hooked the advance up to the vacuum port on the
carb, and there is another on the manifold, but I blocked that one up, so it
doesn't suck air.

I will have a look at the oil filler and see if there is anything there.
