Okay, I think I've fixed it. Here's how: I bought some thin galvanized metal used for roof flashing, then cut two "tabs" out. I drilled a hole for each tab to mount via two of the four existing turn signal lever screws and then I bended them carefully to mimick the original copper tabs. Voila! Works great! I FINALLY got a safety inspection today, so she is 100% LEGAL and on the road. This is quite an accomplishment since I bought her a year ago in July, and I've never driven her as a daily driver... not until now. :) Thanks to EVERYONE's help along the way!. Next job? Restoring the suspension to factory ride height with new shocks and bumper stops.
