<x-charset iso-8859-1>This started out as a thread with Jim but you all should hear The Notchback: Right bar was stiffer than the left... required less twist to get correct height than the left bar. the same change in adjustment on each side resulted in different results on each side height wise... TRY TO GET THAT LEVEL! So Jim, after 300 miles to a show and back the Stiffer right bar has settled considerably, and is now too low on that side. I was in agreement with you that the left bar was a better candidate for a crack as it was softer, but now Im wondering about the right! Ive had this setteling problem before. I guess I need to pull the bar and try ringing it when I adjust the height back up on that side. Arrgh! When you broke that bar, did it break near the stationary end like they usually do??
