Is there an > actuall part number on the wheels, and if so where?? There's no part #, but there is sometimes a 2 digit number which is the offset, which should be a 46 for type 3s. If you take a straightedge and lay it against the face of the center disk it will ride on the humps that center the hubcap. On a type 3 wheel the line defined by this straightedge will hit approximately in the lip where the wheel weights fasten. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
