Now for my next series of electrical questions: 1. Does the ground wire for the horn run directly to the button on a 1968-style Type 3? Or does the ground go directly to the steering column and THEN to the button via some assembly? 2. Should the metal exposed on the turn signal switch act as a ground for the horn assembly? 3. Does the ground wire for the horn run up THROUGH the steering column (my column is a hollow "pipe" instead of a solid shaft)? 4. Does anybody have pictures of what the turn signal assembly should look like? I think I'm missing the horn tab but I don't know what it looks like to know for certain. 5. Does the wire from the steering column ring attach to the ground wire from the horn, or does that wire go direct to a ground? I'm sorry for so many questions, but I can't figure out the horn circuit on this car to save my life. My Bentley doesn't show pictures of the 68-style (only the later style).
