Does any body have an exploded view of a type 3> preferably a square (mines a 70) and mostly the sill/rocker area, and also the engine tin ware? My car is basically rust free, there is just two big holes in the front of the rear wheel arch, leading into the back of the sill and cabin. I want to see how it is assembled, so I can clean it out well and make sure no rust starts in there. There may never have been a hole right through, but the previous owner has removed all the rusty parts and just left the hole - hopefullt the sills stayed dry. The car was rust-proofed when it was brand new, so it appears to have been saved very well (ans it's only done 140 miles in 32 years :-) Is there a book that shows how the body was assembled, or at least some of the parts? I don't have a type 3 manual. I have several Beetle Manuals, and know nearly every part of a beetle inside out, but this is my first type 3, so which manula would you suggest are the best? Thanks Volks! Allan :-) ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
