<x-charset iso-8859-1>Mike wrote, Did anything ever happen with this or was this just phil's way of trying to get a good needle bearing;) =============================================== I do not know, but I did do a little research on this when I needed mine and found that no one made them any longer. The closest I could find had a 2mm diameter case/race too small . I think it may be useable with a 1mm shim. Usually, a worn bearing means worn hard chrome on the arm race surface; the other alternative was to have manufactured an industrial composite bearing/thrust assembly. I was told by the plastics engineer that these bearings would last longer and need no lubrication, high speeds and loads were possible even though I told him my requirements we slow speeds and couple of thousand pounds, was going to be 200 dollars for 50 of these. Not much interest was given and I found prestine bearings but I still have the pionts of contacts.
