[T3] New air-conditioner offered by aircooled.net - opinions?

In the on-going effort to both work on my VWs and pamper my wife at the same
time, I'm looking into retro-fitting A/C into the '70 squareback I'm working
on for her.    Has anyone on the list bought one of the new units that
aircooled.net sells?    I'd be interested in hearing how easy it is to
install, and how effective it is.    I live in SoCal, so it gets pretty
roasty here on occasion.    Also, if you have one of the vintage VW ones,
I'd love to hear how well they work.
