<x-charset iso-8859-1>> Thinking about fitting rear retracting seat belts, whilst I've got the > squareback in bits. It's not the bulge where the rear seat bolts on. It's on the horizontal cross panel where it meets the rising edge of the wheel well. Sounds like you have already lost your outer lower rear seat-belt mountings. They often rust out. As long as the repair is welded and not fibreglass or something, you should be able to put a thick reinforcing plate on the underside and bolt through into it for that. If you want rear inertia belts, you will have to work out where the reel can go. They would need a good brace or they will pull out under load. Dave.
