It was a great show last Saturday, beautiful weather, and the show
was packed! At one point Ginger and I started counting T3's in the
show and parking lot, but gave up after 20. It was fun to caravan
down with DDB and park on the grass as a group. Adam brought a
cooler and BBQ and there was much hanging out going on. Thanks

There wasn't much T3 stuff in the swaps, except for one fellow.
This guy had restored and sold off a couple notches and had a box out
"Type 3 parts, $3 each". I love boxes like this! I got a clean used
set of Hella tail lights, the correct for '66 VW passenger side
mirror, a undented Hella SB12 headlight trim. I'm still looking for
the correct radio to fit the cast and chromed mid-sixties radio hanger
(anyone?).
Before we left the show, I guy came up to us and told us he had a
bunch of squareback parts in his garage back home he wanted to give
away. He switched to water cooled and wanted the parts to go to a
good home. Needless to say I now have a few extra parts in my garage,
including a cherry rust free '67 passenger rear fender (too bad I need
left).
