FWIW, I saw a Notch at Bug-O-Rama last weekend that looked like it had a T1 alt installed on it, but sitting "backwards" (the big end towards the flywheel).


No idea if this is a good idea or not, I don't even know if the car *ran* (might have been a trailer queen for all I know), but ....
