<x-charset iso-8859-1>I am in the middle of installing new TMI Upholstery on my seats. Rear seats, no problem. But, I just slipped the backrest upholstery over one of the front seats, and found that the upper corners are very loose, even though the covers are pulled down as far as they will go. So then I looked at my old seat covers (Bought them from WCM, but they say TMI on the tag) and the style and shape are different. The old ones are sewn out of three pieces of vinyl: One large smooth piece on the back, one basket weave piece on the front, and one smooth strip that runs over the top and both sides. The new ones are sewn out of four pieces: A smooth piece on the back, a smooth piece on either side, and a basket weave piece that covers the front and the top. As I see it, there are three possibilities here: 1) TMI sent me the wrong covers. 2) My car, though it is a '65, has the wrong seats in it, in which case West Coast Metric sent me the "wrong" seat covers 5 years ago, and yet they were the correct covers for my car. 3) TMI changed their pattern for the worse. Can anyone help me out? Which covers are correct for my car? Is this my mistake, or TMI's?
