<x-charset iso-8859-1>Like Jim, I have never found the belts need much attention (lucky, as it's a bit of a fiddle!) - if they do, they are probably too tight. The other good thing is that it's enclosed - my 1600 Camper scares me with that finger crunching pulley and belt when I do anything on the engine while it's running. Not too many cars that have the belts enclosed - you'd think it was a health & safety problem for anyone working on it. I'm sure exposed drive belts like that on a machine in industry would be illegal. Why should service engineers or their fingers be considered expendable? Dave.
