And my square is 100% rust free never had any exposure to moisture being a colorado car and not being driven in the winter it is absolutely 100% completely free from any rust at all, none, zilch, zero, zippo. what is your advice knowing that? I really want you to tell me its OK. john -----Original Message----- From: type3@vwtype3.org [mailto:type3@vwtype3.org]On Behalf Of Russ wolfe Sent: Saturday, July 27, 2002 5:47 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] Will This Bumper Mount Tow assembly work ? They are just bolted to sheet metal. And on our T-3's, this area is usually rusted pretty bad. I have towed several T-3's, and have had good luck using 2 wheel dollies. If the car is an automatic, you will have to remove the rear axle half shafts to tow it. -- Russ Wolfe '66 FB MT (It drove) '71 FB AT '65 Bug (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
