[T3] &%$#$@# and Rocker Panels

Argh!

This morning on the way to work, while exiting the
highway, I was driving next to a garbage truck when
something fell from the side of the truck (a brick)
and hit my Fasty square in my left side H4 headlight
:-(  Smashed the sucker and the bulb, crumpled the
headlight ring but...(and it's a little sad that I'm
happy about this)...NO damage to my nice fenders! :-)

I can buy a new H4, I can buy a new headlight bulb,
and I can buy a new headlight ring, but nice late
model fenders don't seem too widely available.

In other Fastback-related news, I'm pulling my
driver's side (and maybe passenger side) fenders this
weekend to start replacing my rocker panels.  I have
replacement panels from T3D ($$!) and want to start
fitting them, but because of the areas that reach
under the fenders I'm going to remove the "wings", and
do my periodic rust inspection/repair, and fit new
fender beading.
