Hi All, I use the old race turned upside down as a drift. And to prevent the "drift", (old race) from sticking in the the rotor/drum, I cut a slot through the circumference, so that it's no longer a complete circle, (looks like a C but with a small gap). A hacksaw blade width is enough. But if you use a cutoff wheel with a thin disc, that should also be fine. This method also helps to keep the new race square to the rotor/drum. Use only as much force with a hammer as is necessary.
